I don't think anyone is bothered really about the environment.

Look at PMQ's, that is a half an hour shouting match which no-one cares about but most MP's attend it. That's over 600+ MP's being bussed in every week at whatever it costs price and god knows how much it contributes.
 
How did it cost £500k? I’ve tried to find the sums but can’t.

We already pay for the plane don’t we? maybe we have to pay for excess miles. Do we have to pay extra for fuel? That’s probably £100k right there for a return flight. Some fizz for Liz (and the 15-18 staff) and a couple of ginsters to stop them starving on the way - that’ll add a few more quid but that’s still way way under this £500k?

So far I’m not at this “grotesque misuse of public money” that Labour are saying.

I once wrote to her when she was Under-Secretary of State at the DfE. She'd cited "academic research" that claimed having a degree in maths was proven to increase an employer's wage by a approximately 20%, irrespective of their job. I asked her department for the evidence, as I wanted to know how they could prove this. They sent me details of the study: it involved 31 people. Longitudinal, quantitative? No. Emblematic of her shiteness? Yes.
 
Actually I've come to think Liz could be playing a blinder here.
By going on about tougher sanctions against Russia aimed at oligarchs close to the kremlin it raises the whole question of Russian linked donations to the Tories.
That of course is bad news for the popularity of the Government and BoJo just when he needs a lift.
So this appears to be a mistake by the Truss but when you think about it..?

Johnson is a devious lying **** when it comes to being PM - Truss would be a vacuum - like giving the reins of the buggy to a 2 year old
