Nothing to do with the accent - I have a pretty similar one, It's when she starts spouting what I can only describe as a narrative that immediately alienates a substantial elenent of the electorate.

You'll have to give me a clue about what the narrative is that differs from the party line.

Big difference on the exchange’s, just betting against each other leaving the likes of Betfair with their commission and no risk, wasn’t much money on the markets you showed.

There was about £130k bet on smarkets and £1.4m on betfair - Not major, but not bad for political betting markets.

The point was that the bookies odds were the same as the exchange - suggesting it was a reflection of the market, not a loss leader/advert.

If we had a Labour party that contained the kind of people that Harold Wilson had around him, or even Tony Bliar had to choose from, but they just seem to be the left wing version of the goons on the right wing.

I’m not fan of the weird culture zealots in Labour, as I’m an old trade unionist but a patriot and royalist, so some of them make my skin crawl.

That said, I always vote Labour because their policies in the main help ordinary people.

Starmer has done a lot of good work to get rid of the weirdos in the party.

We’ve gone from Palestinian flags being waved at conference (nothing against the people of Palestine or their cause but it shouldn’t be the UK’s biggest party’s main issue), to the whole room singing our national anthem.

I still voted for them under Corbyn but I didn’t like Corbyn, now we’ve got a really serious guy who’s moved the party back into electability and out of the extreme wing of the party. Who, as you saw at PMQ’s, all sit together at the back of parliament being grumpy their Marxism has failed.

Starmer has turned our party around and will see us through.

I’m excited.

Enough Tories will have to support one which is possible, or maybe Charles get involved but that’s unlikely.

Enough public pressure will hopefully change their minds on it.

I don't think either of the main two are credible. Starmer certainly isn't. I don't think they would be worse than the current shit show but they are still a shit option.

I think her notion that there are 'scum' on the opposite benches doesn't endear her to anyone who thinks we are desperate for sensible government. Might have been alright for Aneuring Bevan, but Angie will never be Bevan!
