You are a sensible well balanced poster, I do not see any praise of Putin, i see ridiculing of our Government. It is possible to see both as unhinged, authoritarian and dangerous.

Fair point, Replace praise with prefer. But you get the gist of my point. Truss was hung out to dry by the Russians. This government may well be extreme and authoritarian, but to compare them with Putins Russia is frankly ridiculous. I suggest you have a read up on Russian human rights under Putin.

How do you know he supports this government?? Just because he can differentiate between the actions of a UK Gov and Putins Russia. I find it very odd that you are unable to do this?
 
She's a fucking idiot. This rabble that Johnson has assembled is nothing more than a circus. With him acting as lead clown, not ringmaster. These people are not fit to lead. The only reason they are in their positions is because they are Boris's lickspittles. I mean Nadine Doris, Jacob Ress Mogg, Liz Truss....Jesus Wept. The UK is a world embarrassment and it is telling that they aren't even given consideration in the whole Ukraine debacle, with Putin having phone calls with Macron and Biden. Boris has truly denigrated the UK.

I know it was all stage managed but hence Lavrov just walked off leaving her alone on stage - we have become irrelevant - as long as we have this circus in charge pursing Unicorns instead of making sound policy nobody will have any interest in us except someone seeking to tap into our economy and are able to use our desperation to claim we have made a trade deal that they can exploit us for their own ends.

That folks is where we are.

I don't know much about territories or sovereignty over there but I do expect Truss to know these things and not thoroughly fucking embarrass our country.

Depressing. I read somewhere yesterday that Downing St is now trying to cozy up to China. This all started with Brexit. It weakened Europe, Trump came in and undermined Nato, and now Putin and China have everyone by the balls.
 
She is clearly not thick given her education and qualifications but she has all the appeal as a politician of a dead parrot!

3 Prime Ministers have put their faith in her now and heavens knows why?
 
I’m just watching this meathead on live tv. Talking slowly and deliberately without actually saying anything. She is however being ‘very clear’.

How the hell did we get to this point where someone like Truss is our Foreign Secretary?
 
Just been on R4. What a joke. We will put in place full restrictions on Russians if they invade Ukraine. Yeh, yeh, like we said we would do after they murdered an English citizen in Salisbury and didn't. It was business as usual.
