No council elections in Scotland so with the SNP vote in free fall Labour will pick up more seats here in the GE next year .

With no elections, then that is currently just supposition, no? It may prove to be the case, it may not.

I suspect a GE will produce somewhat different results. It's a way off yet but if I had to make a prediction, it would be a hung parliament with Labour being the largest party. I just don't see them getting an overall majority. I could live with that.

I agree it think it’s difficult to predict a general election based on these results. Probably a Labour majority, but I’m no so certain

They may have been released, but I’d be interested to see the turnout. I barely know anyone that voted and the polling station was pretty empty.

Comical as that may appear, since 2016 the U.K. has become the battleground for a Civil War within the Conservative Party and the country has paid a heavy price. There were always going to be calls for a restoration.

Yes, but polls are not as accurate nor as unbiased as elections. It’s going to be a fascinating 18 months, and I reckon there could be twists and turns yet.
