Local Elections 2023

I suspect a GE will produce somewhat different results. It's a way off yet but if I had to make a prediction, it would be a hung parliament with Labour being the largest party. I just don't see them getting an overall majority. I could live with that.

I agree it think it’s difficult to predict a general election based on these results. Probably a Labour majority, but I’m no so certain

They may have been released, but I’d be interested to see the turnout. I barely know anyone that voted and the polling station was pretty empty.

With no elections, then that is currently just supposition, no? It may prove to be the case, it may not.
There are a few Electoral polls out there as recently as early this week showing to SNP vote collapsing with all the Sturgeon corruption scandal and the fall out of a newly party elected leader . Labour the benefactor !

Yes, but polls are not as accurate nor as unbiased as elections. It’s going to be a fascinating 18 months, and I reckon there could be twists and turns yet.

Beneficiary but still worth the exclamation mark!
