London is a great city that I enjoy visiting. It's only twee, closed minded simple folk that can't hack it. I am born and raised in Manchester and I love the city, but I am realistic we can never compete with London, we are however comfortably this countrys 2nd city.

I've lived in London and hated it.Now i live an hour away it's a great place for a weekend visit or a day out.Some great pubs and a lot of shit ones,good food and lots of stuff to do.

London is an interesting place, that is for sure.

It is tatty and scruffy on the edges, but there is a wonderful heritage that just can't be replicated in any other City in England.

I know we like to think Manchester is a wonderful place, and it is, but it really does pale into insignificance when you have a look around London.

Go there, and have a mooch about. Manchester just does not compare.

London really does have everything. Manchester, I am sorry to say, does not!

And before you ask, I live in Manchester, and I used to live 'down there'.

London has it's shortcomings, but it is a great place to live.

cos I'm tellin' you, s'why. seriously. rubbish. couldn't live there. over-rated. expensive. smelly. people devoid of sympathy and warmth. rich people who would run you over if it was allowed. poor people who would eat you if it was allowed. middle classes don't know they're born. everyone completely ignorant of rest of country. suprisingly few genuinely unique things to do. been a hundred times, never for more than 48 hrs, wouldn't know if I could spend a whole week there. my brain just cries, yeah, ok, but let....me....OUT. so many nicer places in the world.
