London Transport, especially Buses, are affected because of the riots. It will be worth checking nearer the game to see if they are back to normal. When I checked it was telling me to walk 1.5 miles from the Stadium to the Bus stop!! http://www.tfl.gov.uk/

Is this from Kings Cross St Pancras - Seven Sisters?

I was planning on driving and then getting a train down to Northumberland Park station but looks like that line is closed all Sunday for engineering works. So only option seems to be the White Hart Lane station and line.

Thinking more of buses but things may change by the time we play Spurs. I have read the Tubes Victoria Line will be closed on August 27/28 & 29 from Kings Cross to Walthamstow which includes Seven Sisters & Tottenham Hale.

73 from KX to Tottenham isn't running fully but this will be resolved once buildings are made safe.

The bus will take hours and the overland train to White Hart Lane is likely to be full and there are few on Sunday.

4 of us have just booked on to the 6.30am Mega Bus to London gets Victoria Bus Station for 11am, hope this gives enough time to have a few pints and get to the ground with the limited transport options available!!?

Also booked onto the 5pm bus home, same thoughts as above!

Anyone doing the mega bus? At £16 return had to be done!

Hi mate, you seem to have an in depth knowledge of London transport so can I ask for a bit of help. I was originally going to drive to somewhere that meets the line that Northumberland Park is on but I understand that line is closed on the day of the Spurs game. So now looking for somewhere on the White Hart Lane line and considering Enfield. Trains seem to be every half hour going south to Spurs but wondering if they get really busy on match days. I've done Northumberland Park before and preferred that because it was easier getting on after the game there.

Any views or info ?

thanks
Rob

Trains to WHL should be every twenty minutes or so. It's a regular line to Enfield from Liverpool Street. They're never normally too busy as Fans come from every direction.

-- Mon Aug 15, 2011 12:10 am --
