What job do you do? Are you career focused or could you leave what you are doing and go travelling?

Loneliness is a horrible thing to have mate and I feel for you.
As others have said on here, try and look at joining a new club of something that interests you like basket weaving or macramé which I hear are rather popular pastimes amongst the ugly and deformed. Maybe offer you services as an ugly sister when the panto season starts casting. The world, literally, is not your oyster.
Don't give up though mate, the world needs helpless losers like yourself to show the women of this world what real red blooded men look like. Without you, my charm and good looks would seem shallow to the average bird, so keep going pal. Keep sitting at the back, on your own, at parties, keep trying to attract the barmaids attention in busy pubs, and sitting at the front on the top deck of the bus into town.

OP it's a horrible feeling thought you have plenty of time to find her. I'm 53 and think I let mine slip through my fingers because it wasn't meant to be at the time (I thought).
Living on my own in south London and only person I know is my ex so can at times be very very lonely but I try and make most of it. I do stuff on my own, go to gigs, exhibitions, museums etc
Even people I work with live over hour and half away.
Sometimes like the fact no one to answer to but other times get lonely. I remember one New Years Eve in pub at end of my road on way home from work drinking on my own and realised didn't know one other person in my area.
