Long weekend in Istanbul at end of May - Turkey on Govt Red List

Turkey will welcome UK citizens due to our low case numbers and are not asking for a PCR test as per the tweet earlier in the thread.

They will be amber at present. They've gone from a peak of 63k daily cases on 16th April to 25k yesterday. If they get to an average of 14k they should be put on the UK green list meaning no quarantine on return.

They went into a lockdown last weekend which is due to end on 17th May and the aim is to achieve a 5k daily rate.

We're getting in.
Back up to 28k today but no cause for alarm yet.

By "getting in", I hope you mean the stadium ;)

My flight did say it required a negative Rona test before boarding though, the conflicting messages are mad

I’m getting quoted £267 for one way on Turkish airlines. Does that sound about right ?

Looking like the government will issue travellers with free covid tests prior to travel (which can be used on route back) but there’s a £50/60 charge for a test on return to England

Are there going to be fans at the final for certain or is it just speculation at the minute?
