Long weekend in Istanbul at end of May - Turkey on Govt Red List

In London on the Friday so hoping Chelsea don't go through and I can fly from there.
Direct flights from Istanbul to Edinburgh on the Monday so it could fall into place.

Got to be careful that club don't impose you must travel with the club official trip to get ticket. This may though help with any possible isolation requirements on the return.
I think that's how the club might do the tickets, very much like the league Cup final where you can travel on their official planes and coaches as a day trip, negative test or vaccination to travel and go from etihad to airport to stadium and back

We were going to book the flights last night, but like others have said, it may well be a 'ticket and travel package only' deal with there being so few tickets that are going to be available and the current travel restrictions.

This is so frustrating. I have a plane ticket direct from Mcr to Istanbul which I booked last year. The flight got cancelled so held on to it to be used by Dec 31.
My gut feeling is the club will be offering official day trips only with no chance of leaving the cordon from the airport. So fly in, coaches direct to the ground where you enter a controlled fanzone. After the match straight back on the coach and straight back to the airport. Probably £200 for a ticket and £450 for the plane. I think the chances of anyone getting a ticket on less than 20k loyalty points are zero.
So that counts me out. Fucking COVID!

With the rumours that we will get 4,000+, I cannot see the club being able to organise travel to that extent. Too many planes and coaches needed.

That article says we could potentially sell above 4k if those beyond that amount are sold on official travel packages.

So 4k will be sold without the restriction to those making their own way there. Hopefully City matters insist on that given several supporters have already booked.

Personally, gauging from the Carabao Final sales, this forum, and the likelihood of a 10 day quarantine when we get back, I think it might be difficult to sell all those.

Not everyone as willing to jump through the hoops which is fine.
