Don't want to remove, but can see this one descending into mud slinging.

More people with guns is just as likely to equal more incidents like we've just seen. Especially if people were carrying loaded weapons around on the street, which i think is illegal in some states (most states?).

Therefore i don't think you are right when you say more people with guns = less body count.

How many of these new gun owners will learn how to use their weapon properly? Under the circumstances of the Colorado shooting, how many carrying weapons would be a decent shot, how many would get hit by stray bullets in a panic?

I broadly agree, but, if no one in England has a hand gun, how come there were fourteen deaths?

The USA is a beautiful country, with some of the most welcoming people on earth, but with some ideals, it's truly fucked up
