Lost a bit of interest this season

Good win in Europe and the derby tomorrow. Got to be up for this.
Of course. It's not City i'm losing interest in, it's the wider sport itself that is losing me as a fan.

it's the aguero goal to win the league for me.

the day was so perfect that football should have ended there and then.

i think i'm still coming down from that moment.

we need a really decent run in the champions league now for people to get back to the 2012 feeling.

That is a good point but it doesn't take into account the exasperated feeling i get every time i see someone rolling around the floor like they're being tazered, or taking a high board dive like Tom Daley at the slightest contact, players with frowns all over their faces like they're these hard men they think they are, the time wasting, the disrespect the officials endure, the shit atmospheres and constant "sit down"s from ShowSec or your fellow fans.

I fell back in love with football a little tiny bit when Kun stayed on his feet just before setting up Edin's goal the other night. That's what i want to see more of across the sport. Players playing with smiles on their faces, staying on their feet at all costs, showing traits of being a male of the species (even when hurt you do not show it), calling the officials "sir", a huge section at every ground willing to make a racket and being allowed to stand at the footy undisturbed. That's all i need for the sport to be perfect.

i agree, aguero is a role model for all players IMO as is zabba, milner and kompany.

The buzz i get from a city goal, especially an important one can't be matched, the excitement of us creating a chance and the feeling as you see it nestle in the net is as if you forget all other problems in your life for that second.

I think even if i was to stop going, i'd always watch city at least on t.v.

agree with those sentiments its like chasing the ultimate high that you will never get back ,the end to that day was perfect but for 80 mins it was probably the worst day of being a city fan .question if you didnt know it had a happy ending would you want to go through that day again ? for me it was closure on everything that had gone before it.i feel that day my city died ,and now we are at a fresh start and the passion is building again slowly

Surprise surprise I'm back in love with it again, that is until Sunday if we lose:)

For me the Aguero moment - as fantastic and amazing as it was - was just another piece of payback for the barren years from the '76 League cup win to 2011 and the FA Cup. There's an awful lot more to come to make up for the lean years as far as I'm concerned, a few more league titles and a Champs League win would help.

Yeah it does feel a bit like you reached the absolute pinnacle of the sensation of being a football fan. I might live 60 years and never see another moment that incredible.

I haven't lost any passion towards City but I haven't found Pellegrini easy to warm to and it's disappointing to see the players aimlessly amble about like they did when they "hated the manager". Plus what happened to Barry is a bit of a grey cloud too.

i'd relive that moment again yes.

i feel like a weight was lifted off our shoulders that day, every negative thing the rags have ever said to me was gone, i remembered utd fans that used to give me abuse at school that i haven't seen for years and imagined their misery.

it was bliss. the greatest moment of my life.
