Lost a bit of interest this season

£6.80 for a hot dog.....£5.50 for a pie.
"If you don't like it go to the chippy before hand" I keep hearing.....this is why the majority are feeling pissed off and disconnected with football, the idea that you HAVE to go to the chippy. Then you get the unmotivated players etc etc.....

Food has always been crap expensive.....what's new seriously, as for unmotivated players....do me a favour....let's go back to Ged Brannan eh....

I think the race for the title this year is going to be one of the closest yet with improvementts at Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs and therefore i'm still excited by the Premier League. Unfortunately along with most other non-seasoncard holders i know the match day cost is too much to justify for most games, i'll be at the derby but having paid £56 on top of the blue membership i'll be watching most other home games online.

I still get excited by the domestic cups and i'd love to see us win either of them, also like how they are reasonably priced.

I've never had much interest in foreign football and the Champions League is defintely my lowest priority when watching City.

For me the whole Mancini sacking and Wigan Cup hangover killed my love for the game a bit. That said, non-league appeals more to me now
That killed you love?

Not the nineties?

nah, the reaction to it by many fans bugged me loads. I was brought up on 90s failures and empty dreams.

It didn't add to my other thoughts...

the near sterile atmosphere - especially the uber-elitist Cash League,
the grand FA Cup final at silly o'clock for TV purposes,
games moved left right and centre for TV,
increasing costs at games,
mates and family not going as they're priced out of it,
knobheads at games shouting insane amounts of abuse at officials and subs but barely chanting or cheering City on,
financial fairplay and TV deals having no positive effect on fans,
being forced to sit down at away days by stewards (who bother no-one else),
xenophobia by older fans towards new generations and "tourists",
Nike,
fear that one day I won't be able to afford to go...

I could add more, easily.

OP If you losing interest give your S/T to a blue who wants to Go.
Ive been going since i was 7 in 1970, seen all sorts of crap/good times,i will never lose my Enthusiasm for the Blues.

I'd rather sing and cheer for a Ged Brennan playing his heart out for City than an unmotivated player just strolling about picking up 200k a week. Call me old fashioned but what's wrong with a player who is class AND motivated? They're the real world class players, players who are always up for it no matter who they're playing against. If we had a full team like that we'd have no reason to grumble.

Same here I have seen so many average teams and games I cant believe fans moan today! Maybe they have never experienced it.
If am just turned 50 and will savour every minute of every game as you never know how long this will last.

the chippy is better £7 quid for a hot dog is a sign of mental illness if you buy one nothing to do with motivation just a desire to end it all

Want to lose your appetite for hot dogs? Then visit a frankfurter factory. It’s an unpleasant business.
In vast metal vats, tons of pork trimmings are mixed with the pink slurry formed when chicken carcasses are squeezed through metal grates and blasted with water.
The mush is mixed with powdered preservatives, flavourings, red colouring and drenched in water before being squeezed into plastic tubes to be cooked and packaged.
It is a disgusting process, for the hot dog is arguably the ultimate in processed, industrial food.
