Had to give VU & Nico a spin today. Dont read the article in the Daily Mail, hatchet job on a dead man, pathetic.

Daily Mail does a hatchet job on a dead man?

Surely not.

Yeah apparently of you take drugs and indulge in promiscuous sex you'll die and the premature age of ehhh 71....

Best ignore the troll - he's just trying to be edgy and controversial.

Another who knows enough about making music to be able to criticise 90% of artists mentioned on here but have never actually produced anything themselves.

Do you mean Nij or the Troll?

Cos Nij looks suspiciously like Freddie Mercury and indulges in the same proclivities as the buck-toothed frontman.

Just sayin'...

I meant the troll and the irony of him labelling anyone as boring.

Extremely sad news.

Got Transformer out last night and it still sounds as great as when I first heard it.. Found my receipt in the inlay card too.. 1999. Does anyone else keep theirs for their records?

You'll have to explain that to our younger brethren on here!
very true
if it's not on a HDD then it's not worth listening to
The joy of scratches and crackles; those were the days!
That's what I was going to say too ;-)
I have an old 45 of 'Stand by Me' somewhere and the crackle at the beginning is part of its charm.

Again, you'll have confused a lot of the younger BM'ers. Just play safe from now on and don't mention C90 cassette tapes!

Sunday evenings listening to the top 40 on radio 1, waiting for the song you want to come around, then trying to tape it without catching any of the inane ramblings of whichever DJ was presenting it; those were the days. Young 'uns these days don't realise what they missed out on!
