Louden Tavern - Ibrox

Are you not getting confused with the Louden Tavern on Duke St, near Parkhead which is a Rangers Pub (all painted up) and much better
than it's namesake near Ibrox.
You also have The Bristol Bar on Duke St, which is a Rangers shrine ( a fortune.s been spent on it).
Have a look on their website, doesn't look much from the outside but it's amazing inside.

thats what I thought at first but now not so sure ....

The Louden the most famous rangers pub located right next to Ibrox is putting out a special welcome for all city fans going up for the Celtic game they will be publicising more in the coming weeks . Absolutely cracking pub, if you like to sing about bigotry and we will get a great welcome

By "great welcome" do you mean robbed and kicked to death?

Bairds was closed years ago mate due to trouble !! Was always a good stop as you say for the barras, dodgy jukebox mind you!

It's a great pub if you like to be 'up to your neck in Fenian blood' and your knuckles drag along the floor.

Why would anyone want to go to a Rangers pub? Glasgow is full of belting pubs that will be happy to let you in and have a drink.

Went in here last time we played Celtic in a Pre-Season friendly. It is a cracking Pub, and about a 15 to 20 minute walk from Celtic Park, if my memory serves me right.
You'll get a lot of blues in here as you did last time. Just one point though, they were not letting under 18's in, so no youngsters. Altough this may have changed since.

After what those twats did to our city the only time id visit that shithole of a bar is with a wrecking ball and a panzer tank

all the pubs directly around Parkhead are horrible dives
was at Costello at the Barrowlands recently and was surprised how bad they really were
Merchant City is not far away but watch out for wee gangs of Celtic casuals looking to pick folk off - the cowards attack scarfers and families as well

To be far mate, the pubs around the Etihad are hardly palatial

obviously , nor Maine Road previously , just wanting to give City fans realistic expectations
Merchant city is probably akin to Northern Quarter distance wise but maybe not as many pubs

Will I be allowed in to the Louden if I were my favourite bobble hat?

Maybe better not wearing that in Glasgow centre. Plenty of places nearby for a drink. Never been but Larkhall is not to far away and said to be refreshingly different.
