Well; if they don't have the right insurance for him to play, does it matter how long he'll be on the pitch for? Also, he was brought on as a sub in the 65th minute, so he played for a good half an hour. I doubt the stories of them not having the right docs to insure him are correct - I'm pretty sure that to play any football at a professional level (even though he's signed an amateur contract, it's still pro level) you have to have a clause in your contract which bars you from the right to take legal action over anything that happens on the pitch.
