LoveCity/City_Watch Appreciation Thread

Makes me realise how much I rely on it for City news, pretty much covered everything you ever needed to know about what's going on at City. A great service that will be sorely missed and was hugely appreciated.

Now I'm going to have to search through the horrible, wum infested place that is twitter looking for 4 or 5 other reliable City accounts that between them might cover even half of what CityWatch provided.

It cant be easy being the only person running that account 24/7 so thankyou very much for all the updates!
 
Fantastic account and understandable given how much effort must go into keeping the fans informed.

Thanks for all the news and info you've carefully curated...especially during the transfer windows. City Watch will be missed.
 
Thanks so much Love City. I'd often open Twitter and check that account before I looked up any articles. I know it must have been a ton of time and work, enjoy the hiatus! At least we've got a great season to look forward to.
 
I said on page 6 he should get paid for his work. It must be more time consuming than a " conventional" full-time job. It would be wonderful if the club or us City supporters, could find a way to turn his hobby into a fulfilling livelihood, (if he wants?). There are thousands of City supporters who will miss City_watch on twitter.
 
Every time I got up in the morning and after I came back from work (not to mention every time a new City_Watch message alert popped up), I would be on twitter for the only purpose of reading the latest news on City, never used twitter for anything else. Now that it's on hiatus, it's going to be impossible to fill the void.
If LoveCity's really going to permanently close the City_Watch account, I hope he'll provide us with a few suggestions on who else to follow in order to get the latest City-related information because I really have no idea. Or maybe appoint someone else who can continue the good work City_Watch does..
