Loyalty Point System

youve got to ask yourself do mcfc want a fan of 40 years with 7000 points picking and choosing his games or a guy willing to plow thousands into the club now in order to go to games. harsh reality is the latter unfortunately

If they go down that road I will truly believe that football and City are fucked!

As i have only 2850 i am sometimes a bit panicky for the away tkts, so i try and snag someone with more than me to get me one, as i did again for Scouse on saturday, i would have had well more points but id rather take one whilst i can via someone else rather than risk it and dip (pun intended) out.

Correct. They could do that. Can you then imagine te outcry on here? "I've been going home and away for 40 years and some JCL gives the club £5000 and can get a ticket before me"

Yes, but it won't happen. I'm gonna start a business, now. If you give me £5000, I'll give you nothing. You up for it? If City do get to another final, I will guarentee that for £5000 I will do my upmost to get you a ticket. If I don't, then you will find my phone enganged

i think its comin mate. im not saying i agree with it but as a business move it kinda makes sense.

Really dissapointed with some of the vitriol and bitterness i`ve read this past week,no system is perfect but i think we got this more right than wrong.
Of course we all want a ticket and all think we deserve one but the points system i personally think is a good one, some juniors deserve them and there was only a limited amount for them, osc`s deserve some, some will abuse them ,most won`t.
My only gripe is that that some guys with more points than seasoncard holders have lost out and that seems a bit unfair especially in this economic climate but i can understand it
Hopefully now it`s all done and dusted the bitterness can stop, people can plan what they will do in the future knowing the score this year and all get behind the blues.
I doubt it though unfortunately, this has brought the worst out of some people and i hate to see blues abuse each other.
Rant over

The distribution of tickets will have to change at some point in the future, probably to a similar ballot system that United use. You cannot have 36,000 seasoncard holders with over 10,000 of them never going to get a ticket for big games. Card holders not attending Cup games will have to forfeit their right to a ticket for those that have attended those matches. How can you keep justifying someone getting a Wembley ticket because they went to City 10 years ago and doesn't go to any cup games when a young lad may have gone to all City games this season and has only say 2,700 points and has no chance of a ticket for a competition he has supported City in ?

this is exactly bang on the money, well said, and this is why I have had a few arguments on here about them not giving the people (the CDS members) who have attended the cup games first option on the final tickets. I have about 4800 points so don't have a problem getting one myself but I've been trying to get hold of a ticket for my dad who has been to all the cup games and has a season ticket, only today I've been offered a two tickets at £300 each off two elderly season ticket holders who can't be arsed going to the final, these people probably haven't been to the cup games and are now trying to make a load from their tickets. This makes my blood boil!!

i dont know if this has been mentioned . if it has then i apologise. inevitably its all gonna come down to money in the end so why cant fans buy loyalty points as in if you want to climb the list you simply go to the ticket office and write a cheque. for instance a 40 quid away ticket gets you 20 points so give em 400 quid and acquire 200 points.

i can see something like this coming.

Just buy an executive season card for £800 and get a guaranteed away ticket every time, Wembley tickets also.
