Loyalty Points - Now a Joke

Any blue is as as gooda blue as the next. I dont give a fuck if they are black white, yellow gay, straight, etc etc.

Whats it got to do with loyalty points...Fuck all....

Is this the "I'm a better blue than they are thread!???"

You are missing the point.

There was cheering and clapping by dozens in the City section when Arsenal scored.

I doubt they were blues.

Definitely more overseas fans there yesterday but they could have got their tickets through:

1. Hospitality package
2. Players / club
3. Fans who bought "but couldn't attend"

The loyalty points system might not be perfect but what could replace it? A ballot? There would be criticism of that too.

The club are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Has anyone got a better idea for away ticket allocation?

i've been a staunch supporter of the loyalty points system but beginning to see that a slight alteration is required

i know guys who have amassed a huge amount of points over the years and choose only to go to the big games, although this will disappear as they get caught up
a way of speeding this up would be to only count the points for the last five years (similar to the euro-coefficients), then regular and consistent awayers are top of the queue

I suggested something similar a while ago, however 40 points for an away compared to 10 in the first few years is already doing the above to some extent.

at the next points of ble meeting it needs to be cleared up as to who is getting the tickets and how ?

Has Platinum been a success or simply been a way of buying extra points?

I like the idea of every five years looking at the top say 3000 away day attendees.

It is working to some extent, the lads I go with are a mixture of gold/platinum and cup scheme/non cup scheme and it's amazing how quickly the pecking order has changed this season, mind you it has also coincided with one or two of them picking and choosing games rather than attending most aways

It has now become obvious that the loyalty points system is being overdidden and the club should now come clean and explain full ticket distribution details.

Yesterday at Arsenal could have been a massive game and yet we have large numbers of tourists in the city end with video cameras etc, large group of italians wearing sampdoria scarves and a larger number of overseas family groups than I can ever remember at any city game. This seems to be a greater issue at London games and I know that these people are not regulars, How are they getting the tickets, Is someone on a earner through third parties.

If we were ever to have a title winning game in London there will be 100s of tourist attending there first ever city game the way things are going.

Just out of interest mate which block were you sat in? Did it look like a block of seats had been sold to an outside agency?

I think most regular away goers saw they had to get platinum or fall behind, so the ones who got it to catch up would be disappointed.
