Loyalty Points - Now a Joke

Anybody can buy the Thomas cook corporate packages. I bought mine about a month ago for the Newcastle game, despite 'only' having 6700 points. It was the only way I was going to get a ticket at that stage.

i swear to god mine aren't being added properly.
im sure mine arent either. should nearly be on 6000 now for gods sake.

its corperate packages and people who sell on their tickets, thats how they get theres. it'd be the same for norwich looking at how many tickets have suddenly become spare but only the location of it

I think the only reward now for loyal supporters would be to introduce the away season ticket, this would be on sale at the start of the season based on existing points allocations. The loyalty and commitment then eliminates the uncertainty, any will ensure our hardcore is not eroded by the big game charlies who have cash but never went to York,Lincoln etc.

Any blue is as as gooda blue as the next. I dont give a fuck if they are black white, yellow gay, straight, etc etc.

Ridiculous.

And what has race, nationality or sexuality got to do with anything?

Are you genuinely saying that someone attending a season defining away match for the first time, who has never been to see City play before and isn't even particularly a City fan is as deserving of a ticket as the next bloke in the loyalty points queue?

Cos that is the jist of opening post that you have just tried to criticise with that response

No offence but isn't this what Superbia is ?
Or do you mean a seperate Away Seasoncard that is different to a Home one but does not include Cup Games ?

It's down to all-seater stadia. Demand outstrips availability. Fans will get ripped off as long as corporate deals are available - Look on Ticketmaster, you can get away tickets for any match as long as you want to pay top dollar. You can probably already get tickets for next season.

Oh for the days when you could decide on the day whether or not to go to an away game, pretty well any match other than the derby / big cup match. Then you'd use your tokens to get a ticket. You didn't have to go to a game, all you had to do was buy a programme!

There was none of this 'points' bollocks in the old days - How do you think 20,000+ Blues got into St James's Park in 1968? We were outside the ground before 11:00 and weren't going to move for anybody. If you got there late, you got locked out.

I only remember getting locked out of the away end once (Forest in the 80's?), and I just paid to get into the seats in their main stand - Near the directors box. About two hundred more Blues were in the same section of the stand going mental when we scored.

I'm not pointing any fingers - I just want terraces back!

Not sure what the solution is but i know ex hardcore blues with over 8,000 points who rarely go to away games these days who simply loan their card out to other city fans to help them get tickets just so they stay at the top of the queue for when the big matches come along. Not sure there is any way round this but im sure that is happening a lot.

most ridiculous idea ever
i would consider myself part of the hardcore away support but do miss some of the games for a variety of reasons so an away seasoncard wouldn't suit, but then if City sold them how do i get to any away games?

It has now become obvious that the loyalty points system is being overdidden and the club should now come clean and explain full ticket distribution details.

Yesterday at Arsenal could have been a massive game and yet we have large numbers of tourists in the city end with video cameras etc, large group of italians wearing sampdoria scarves and a larger number of overseas family groups than I can ever remember at any city game. This seems to be a greater issue at London games and I know that these people are not regulars, How are they getting the tickets, Is someone on a earner through third parties.

If we were ever to have a title winning game in London there will be 100s of tourist attending there first ever city game the way things are going.

Saw the Italians at the swamp this year wearing their Sampdoria scaves and shirts and waving a flag around. I remember thinking at the time, how have they managed to get tickets for the biggest away game of the season and robbing other blues the chance of going.
