I’d say the Gundogan/Kovacic comparison is very arguable, not because Kovacic isn’t a good player, cos he is, but because Gundogan was a proven and reliable source of goals, assists and ideas. Not with you on McAtee or Bobb particularly either. One hell of a step up from Sheff United to being a semi regular starter for the champions of Europe. May have to go with it though, the way things are shaping up…..

Gundogan wasn't a reliable goal scorer though that happened after the season he was are top scorer when we played with a false nine! I believe Kovacic will contribute with goals and assists
 
The only thing to take from all this is how unreliable every report has been up to now. Interesting to read and sometimes quite convincing, but all entirely wrong….unless the latest ones are wrong….in which case the first ones might be right….they’re all guessing!
 
Sometimes football god work miracles when no mark **** cost 100 million plus .
