Lucas Paqueta investigated by FA for alleged betting breaches

A report on me? For what? Can someone please show me exactly where I insulted City management? My whole point was that we gave Gundo too much time to decide and we should’ve at least put our hat in for the player, that’s it. Won’t speak on it again as my words are being twisted and I’m now even being accused of not being a fan because of it.
Rag

:)

wonder who gave a heads up to City on this. quite a "useful" information before a significant transfer fee paid out.

rumours that they’re trying to get him for match fixing as he never placed the bets himself just two accounts apparently placed bets on him to receive a yellow card totalling to 20k on several occasions both account were located in Brazil surely a bigger ban incoming for something like that if proven

Your seeming obsession with Maddison. Which in itself isn't an offence, though it is a tad tiring. Also; if you are, as you claim, a City fan, you seem to have a lot of love for Spurs (hence my belief that you were a Spurs fan). If you're not, fair enough; I retract my earlier post.

I’ll cede to Pep for that decision.

It doesn’t stop the fact we‘re looking for a creative 8.

I'd happily take a punt on someone like Pedro Goncalves. His numbers look great although in the Portuguese league.

Still a bit concerned if Rodri gets injured though, think a lot rests on Kovacic's shoulders as Phillips certainly won't be seeing any game time.

I'm guessing the betting breach is the sole reason his move here has been called off by us, despite some truly bizarre takes attacking Txiki on here even though he's been outstanding.

With there being an air of uncertainty earlier and this just popping up now it seems the obvious conclusion, hopefully it's an extremely minor offence (like Trippier as opposed to Barton/Toney) for his sake but he's fucked up bigtime.

I'm betting (pun intended) West Ham were actually willing to sell him as Kudus was available but now this has cropped up, silly boy gambling or even at least letting family know of his transfers has messed up bigtime, he could've damaged the chances for the best possible move of his career.

Personally I'd come around to the idea quickly that he's the best alternative to Bellingham from an all point of view, so I'm very disappointed by this and this betting probe surely has to be the true reason the move has collapsed.

On to others I guess but we've also decided to leave not buying someone in the past, which is making me a little nervous but we don't settle for people we don't think would fit either.

Best thing to come out of this is youths coming through quicker, but in all honesty I'd rather have had a proper replacement and backup for KdB in place.
