To be honest I would bet many pastilles on it they gave Liverpool and Arsenal a hell of a game
Yes but I don’t think there is much between our and liverpool and arsenals form recently, all 3 are conceding goals to teams they shouldn’t be only difference arsenal and Liverpool have got very late winners ( against lower half teams) to win points where we have conceded late goals to drop points (against top half teams).
So I don’t think arsenal or liverpool are much better than our current form.

I asked AI about advice for the game, and this is what it said:

Pep has City set and steeled
Against Luton they'll be whet and healed
This tie is a chance to rise
And regain winning guise

Grealish fit to play once more
Will help spread attacks and score
Bernardo returns in form
To lead City’s midfield swarm

At Kenilworth Road they’ll pour
Attacking football in store
Haaland to find his fire
And Foden higher to soar

Though Luton won't lie down bereft
City's warriors will not cleft
They'll fight with warrior might
And kick start their winning plight

A victory to lift the mood
Restart positive attitude
The struggles soon forgone
New winning ways will dawn

This should be pinned.

Doesn't look like Doku was training with the players who didn't start yesterday. Hopefully, it's nothing too serious. His injury history is/was always the big worry.

Eddie
Akanji Stones Dias Ake
Rodri
Nunes Bernardo
Foden Haaland Grealish

I doubt anyone that has watched us play the last month would feel confident ahead of any game regardless opposition. We are awful at the moment.
No we were awful yesterday. In each of the draws we had in the last month we had period's of really good play and dominance. We couldn't claim that to be the case against Villa.
