Luxury Robinho

The fact im getting at is that Robinho hasnt been pulling his weight for quite a while now. And in the situation we find ourselves he is a luxury we cannot afford. One brilliant flick a game isnt enough.

So who would replace him?

Id play Sturridge when fit. He played out of his skin against Shalke on the left then got dropped. Bojinov can play there. They will show more desire, which is what we need in this situation. Robinho would be brilliant if we was top of the league and teams was scared of us and stood off us.

You fuckin knob jockey bluenatic. Take off your brazilian tinted shades and look at the real picture. Hes not pulling his weight.

Befuckinhave...he was our only threat today. Let's just hope the fucker Parker hasn't put him out for a few games.

Plenty more players you could have slagged off today before Robinho. Oh and your username is fucking pathetic.

Fuckin hell skyblue i bet if we get relegated you will be one of the numptys still singing "we've got robinho". We need fight now not a showboater who turns it on whenever it pleases.

Rag or not, the point is very relevant.

The whole system we employ is tailored to suit Robinho. We would not be playing with this shape if it wasn't the one that suits that one player the best.

So, if you are utilising a system to accommodate your star player then the least we can expect is for that star player to actually start pulling his weight and contributing to the cause a bit more often.

The fact of the matter is that he has been more or less a complete waste of a shirt on our travels and I am convinced that if we had not signed Robinho we would have had more points, away from home at least.

For me, we have another Kinkladze situation here, where our most talented individual ends up being part of the reason for our downfall, because we are manufacturing a team to suit his involvement, whereas he should be altering his game to suit the pattern best suited to the team as a whole.

Mark Hughes has to take the blame for all that but let's not pretend that the Robinho factor is not a major contributory factor to our ills, because it clearly is.

DD HOORAY!!!!! At last somebody who sees whats really happening on the pitch. Its plain to see. Kinkladze situation all over again.

We can question his commitment all day but for me he's our only real threat at times, even today he managed to carve out 3 or 4 half chances for himself.

He gets a rough ride at times, no one is amazing week in week out especially in an inconsistent team such as ours.

Dropping Robinho would be mental, you dont drop your star players you perservere with them in the knowledge that their form will return.

Rob can be shite and still score 2 goals, not every week granted but he can do it, he was immense on Thursday and will be immense again.
