Extra man in midfield maybe, to close space then when it opens up Bernardo and Phil will be on. Trust Pep on this. I would have gone for the same team as against Real - one thing for sure he will have studied every aspect of Lyon so will have a plan. Garcia may have a bit to prove after publicly rejecting the contract.

For me the first option still looks the most natural, which is ultra defensive for Pep, a would be amazed that is how we set up, but looks more plausible the the other two.

to be honest i thought the same (which i never thought I would with Pep as manager).

I remember watching chelsea win the champs league about 8 years ago I think in possibly the most boring game of football ever .......but history still says they have won it!

Its strange however as Pep has always said he wants to win things the right way but he has shown recently that he may have slightly changed that and become slightly more pragmatic
