Lyon (H) - Post Match Thread

It was a bit shit, but at least it was in the CL with plenty of opportunities to put right. Plus who really gives a shite about the CL anyway

I’d have been really pissed off if we dropped PL points like this.

The sign were there against wolves tbh, good sides that are good enough to keep the ball coupled with pace and power are like kryptonite to us. We have to learn from these games
Exactly .

Feels like we've been stuck in first gear for most of the games so far this season to me. Might just focus their minds, that game. Think what they put into last season and the world cup has left them deflated.
I agree we seem to be stuck in first gear but I think that’s largely down to missing KDB and the dynamism he provides in central midfield. For all the great qualities of silva silva gundo and dinho none of them have any real energy about them

Dinho has far too many turnovers tonight. Hopefully that improves, because I’m not sure gundo would be a good option at cdm

I’m not saying I don’t want us to win, because I do, but I really don’t feel the pain that a league defeat brings.
not an embarrassing comment at all mate,,some of us truly don't like the CL me for one i'd sooner have 3 points at Cardiff than 3 tonight given the choice,so chuck your previous reply on the tip
