Lyon (H) - Post Match Thread

Every good team will have a poor game at some stage
Let’s hope that was it and move on
The damage is repairable on this occasion and it will serve as a wake up call
Onwards and upwards

The usual stuttering season after a title win it seems! Were we just too good last season and now can’t match it? Also why does pep always try to play gundogan in these type of games and fuck the system around!?

I fear that just like the last 2 times we won the league the club has gone and done it again and been complacent and not strengthened the team when they should have.

Trying to haggle over £5m and then not having a Plan B for Jorginho was ridiculous.

That was dreadful tonight, hopefully that’ll give the players the kick up the backside and we can start the season properly on Saturday

Foden should have played instead of gundogan.
In fact disappointing players for me this season gundogan, mahrez and jesus. I hope they get better.

not an embarrassing comment at all mate,,some of us truly don't like the CL me for one i'd sooner have 3 points at Cardiff than 3 tonight given the choice,so chuck your previous reply on the tip
And that in a nutshell is probably why we won't win this competition. If the fans don't give a fuck why the hell should the players

And that's not a criticism just the reality.

Liverpool do care about the competition and perform better in it than they do in the league.

The only thing is that Mansour wants to win it.
