Lyon travel plans

Won the Cityzens competition so flying with the team and staying at their hotel :)

Will be quite a difference to 6am flights and long bus journeys across countries like I've done previously!

Enjoy the trip pal, I went with the club to Celtic the other year. Great trip, unfortunately only on plane with staff though due to plane availability... Was nice to skip all the queues at Manc airport though and go through all the back doors.

The Hilton did charge mind for the room on the card left with them for room service, paid back straight away to be fair when called up and told them city paid for it.

Can't find any easy way, trains/trams look a bit of a pain.

How much is it from the airport to Lyon city centre ?

I think its about €30 return on the tram. I got it a little cheaper as someone on here said if you book it 2 months in advance you get a discount. Its very expensive anyway. Think a cab is supposed to be about €70 each way depending on traffic.

I went during the Euros and the tram was the best option. We tried the bus on the way home but it took ages.
