granted, the cruciate thing is a worry, but it's now a much more routine fix than it was.
even a chunky johnno on his comeback seemed to have way more time on the ball than anyone else. the sign of a class player.
Just reminds me a lot of when Weaver was injured and I just kept hoping he'd come back and really prove himself and just when it looked like he was, injury would strike again. I'd love to be wrong about Johnson. I really genuinely would. Unlike some on Bluemoon, my ego doesn't come into it. I don't care about being right, I care about City. It's just hangover pessimism from previous City injuries (Bell and Lake as well - although I'm too young to remember them I've read/heard their autobiographical accounts of them), which makes me doubt this one. Michael Johnson is just the player we need right now too which would make a miraculous recovery from recurring injuries all the better so I've got my fingers crossed in hope that I'm wrong.
