Never been a fan of driving at night.

How much daylight will still be around travelling back North after half seven-ish?

Plenty as sun sets in Manchester about 9.30pm. Game over by 4.50, trophy lift and a see song over by 5.30. Hope to be back in car by 6.15 so most of the way back in the light

Is it deffo M40 for rags? I can’t find anything on club website. M40/A40 is so much easier to get to the West side - seems daft … then again there is previous form on such matters.
I’ll be using M40 anyway for the relatively short trip to the Etihad South.

And even worse now on these so called SMART (aka Dangerous) Motorways where there is no hard shoulder and no lighting. We have to do the M6 up to J32 regularly and it is scary. Think you should be OK with natural light until about 9.30pm.

I'll be going down the 40 up to Uxbridge. Tubeing it in from there. Any trouble is more likely to be afterwards not before the game but it's a sad state of affairs if anyone is worried about going cos of them.

I would avoid junction 15a at Northampton due to road works, and suggest Newport pagnell instead otherwise it might add a fair few minutes on to the journey
