After the Duggan documentary i have doubts over anything coming out of the police and the fact they found a gun in the car seems a leaked piece of info to try and justify any action.
However, seems like the guy was an utter scum bag so not going to lose any sleep over it, just think the police need to be far more trustworthy and transparent. Surely on a job like that then body cams is an absolute must.

This is what is confusing me,where was the gun found exactly ? In the footwell or on the seat ? On the floor in the back ? In the boot ? On the body ? Did he reached for the gun ? Was he aiming the gun ? Or did they take no chances and because tbey knew he had a gun in the car and shot him anyway ? He might have been a scum bag but could this be a case of public execution because of his reputation ?

I don't get why it should matter if he was a scumbag or not, we send them to jail we don't assassinate even scumbags because we're better than them surely? If we start saying unlawful killings are ok on any level then it's a slippery slope IMO. We need to trust the people we pay to protect and serve surely? They have to be better than that, we don't know whats gone on yet anyway but leaking info like there was a gun found with no other information seem deliberate when you when you find out they for some reason had no body cams that night it does seem suspicious but maybe there is an explanation for all of that.
