M62 Police Shooting

For a minute I forgot brown meant heroin and was about to get the popcorn out.
Most dealers don't call heroin 'brown' anymore nor do they call crack 'white',
jurys are now directed to accept brown & white refer to drugs by judges when text messages are used as evidence against them in trials, so nowadays it's Whiskey & Brandy. (I know this through work I'm not a bag head)

Got you mate. *wink wink*

After the Duggan documentary i have doubts over anything coming out of the police and the fact they found a gun in the car seems a leaked piece of info to try and justify any action.

However, seems like the guy was an utter scum bag so not going to lose any sleep over it, just think the police need to be far more trustworthy and transparent. Surely on a job like that then body cams is an absolute must.

As for people protesting, they need to get a grip and stop watching CNN and FOX.[/QUOTE?
This is what is confusing me,where was the gun found exactly ? In the footwell or on the seat ? On the floor in the back ? In the boot ? On the body ? Did he reached for the gun ? Was he aiming the gun ? Or did they take no chances and because tbey knew he had a gun in the car and shot him anyway ? He might have been a scum bag but could this be a case of public execution because of his reputation ?

I was driving past J24, on my way home from the match, just a few minutes before the incident. My missus felt the need to mention at the time just how much traffic was joining the M62 from that junction. It must have been very crowded there if a major police operation was also taking place.

I don't get why it should matter if he was a scumbag or not, we send them to jail we don't assassinate even scumbags because we're better than them surely? If we start saying unlawful killings are ok on any level then it's a slippery slope IMO. We need to trust the people we pay to protect and serve surely? They have to be better than that, we don't know what's gone on yet anyway but leaking info like there was a gun found with no other information seems deliberate and when you find out they for some reason had no body cams that night it does seem suspicious but maybe there is an explanation for all of that, I hope so anyway.

Who's said it was an unlawful killing it's been referred to the IPCC as per standard practice, people are just saying they don't give a shit that a scumbag heroin dealer is dead.

That's the point isn't it(or maybe you are missing it... it is being implied that it is suspicious, your interpretation of "oh he's dead so what?" is not quite getting it) we don't know yet(which I've said) but some are saying it doesn't matter anyway(that it is suspicious) because he was a scumbag, my point was it might matter a little less sure but it still matters.

Fuck him I'm with the majority on here, how many lives has he destroyed selling that shit and the prisons are too full anyway.

From what I'd seen he was boxed in by the plain cars. Maybe he didn't realise it was police and thought he was getting ambushed by other scum bags? In this case he might have started shooting or aiming himself. The police have pretty strict rules on the circumstances they can start shooting people, and they tend to be treated as murderers by the IPCC when they do.

Quite a presumption you make there that it was an unlawful killing.

Why did you?

What is suspicious?

So far, nothing is.

If the gun was planted it would be an unlawful killing surely(the fact that they had no body cams, the fact that so little has been leaked other than there was gun found... not suspicious? Sure thing pal), all I have said it is suspicious I also said "WE DON'T KNOW YET"... more than once I'm not going dance around it being suspicious just to please the easily offended, I'll call it how I see it.
