Just because a PC is more widely used does not make it the best. In fact the MAC is far more stable than any PC will ever be.

I doubt it after Windows 7, let's see what Bill and his Macintosh's churn out then.

Wrong for a simple reason, any manufacturer can make a part for a PC and it will not necessarily work with Windows as well as it should but it can still be included in your PC. Wheras Macs are patented meaning only aproved parts can be put together, this means their OS is specifically written to use every piece of hardware in your machine, making it far more stable than any PC can ever be.

Over rated, over priced.

If Vista had of been anywhere near what it should of been, Ipod's would be all that is left on the market, concerning Apple of course.

It also loses the gaming branch with the fact you cannot play games on it, with one in 3/4 Mac's are dualbooted, meaning that it has another OS, primarly Windows XP.

im on a windows xp laptop and i know for a scientific fact that macs are better.
i just can't afford one

If Macs and PC's were the same price (roughly), then macs would be better.

But they are not. And Macs are nowhere near 4X better than PC's.

It's all a bit of banter tbh, without a doubt Mac's are better and more stable (and patented as stated by ITK) but are also far more over priced and over rated.
Pc's and Mac's lose and win but overall, Mac's are better.

I don't know as much as some people may think, I'm only 16 and off to bed, night. :)

back on topic,

don't bother using the calculator. Just type your sums in spotlight. If it all gets too complex you always have the option of opening calculator from the spotlight results.

Must have software perian and flip for mac.

If you use iweb then you can manage multiple websites by opening from the domain file rather than the app itself.

ignore all the pc users who say you're a fool for paying too much but are secretly envious of your crash free virus free smug and proud of it cyber lifestyle.

and as for no games, i've been cod 4 ing for the last hour.
