the mad hatter pub off Stanley grove longsight Manchester mysteriously shut down a while back so glad its been re opened in New York via la yanks

probably less locals in there now though
Being drunk and thick I thought that's what this thread was about tbh. The Longsight Mad Hatter was a mega dodgy boozer in the late 80's early 90's. Been called the Huntingdon for a few years now. It's still open isn't it? Sometimes drive past it on the way from the match when other roads are busy.
They used to have some crazy coach trips to away games, blimey some serious drinkers on them!

Just tapping into this thread, sorry, but i'll be in Miami for the Chelsea game on 25th Nov. I can see Orlando has been covered but anybody know about Miami.
Churchills in Little Haiti was my favorite hangout, though the neighbor hood is somewhat different culurally (don't run over any chickens). Run by a bloke from Stoke. The Playwright in Miami Beach (washington and, err 14th) is more familiar territory.

Best City bar abroad i've been in and you get a City t/shirt as well..............

Everyone knows The Mad Hatter is a great City pub here in NY City. They have a message board. Its small and doesnt get a lot of traffic but there are some sound guys on there. I tried to get back on it and it comes up as "ACCOUNT SUSPENDED". Anyone know whats going on?

The Mad Hatter website is down. The bar is as open as ever. In fact, anyoe in NYC for the Charity Shield should join us for the match

A Good friend of mine (ST holder for many years) is celebrating his silver wedding anniversary in New York & will be there for the Charity Shield . I have told about the Mad Hatter & him & his red wife are hoping to be there . What time is KO over there & what time does the Mad Hatter open

The Mad Hatter will be open for Kick-off.

It's a 13:30 kick-off, so that's 8:30 EDT.

Got back late last night from a weekend in New York, had a great few hours in the Mad Hatter Saturday night.
There was 3 of us in there and then a family of 4 came in - all wearing the new replica kits (mum, dad, lad and daughter!).
The bar man put on the Spurs 1 City 5 game for us on the TV screen nearest to us and then the three of us were given a Blue Moon pint glass as a souvenir at the end of the night!
The place was covered with City memorabilia :)

I'll definitely be having a pint or two in it when I'm in NYC next year!

bit off topic but how much would you expect to pay for a pint in New York?
