[Why Always Ste]

Anyone watched/Currently watching Mad Men?

A drama about one of New York's most prestigious ad agencies at the beginning of the 1960s, focusing on one of the firm's most mysterious but extremely talented ad executives, Donald Draper.

Struggled watching the first two episodes but as the characters developed and I got used to the smoking in buildings (lol) I really got into it.

Quality show, Wasn't around in this era where the man ruled and the women stayed at home, would make my life alot easier :D

really struggling to get into it. there's so many good shows out just now i think "why do i need to try and get into a show". then i remember arrested development and how long that took before i realised that i was watching the best show ever.

Its an amazing series. You do find that nothing will happen for a couple of episodes then all of a sudden something big will occur and make you want to watch the next episode.

Time for a bump IMO, series 5 starting on Tuesday.
It might be an acquired taste but this series is long overdue after all the wrangles and fallouts with the writer and AMC at the end of series 4.

Gonna be quality viewing each week to look forward to over the summer.

Anyone know when its being shown in the US? Ideal for me would be the UK getting it broadcast on the same day.

I've watched two and a half seasons of Arrested Development as people keep telling me it's brilliant, but I have no idea why yet... when is it supposed to get good?

Anyway, Mad Men seasons 1 and 2 were superb. I thought the first episode of season 3 was terrible, and I haven't bothered watching the rest of season 3 yet on the back of that first episode.

I will give it a try though so that I can give season 4 a go too.
