Madonna world tour looks to be cancelled

Not saying suing is reasonable here but reading the story it does sound a bit more of a piss take than the headline implies. To do 3 consecutive concerts and turn up 2 hours late to all 3 is a bit more than a diva strop or an unexpected delay/issue. Smacks of the promoters purposely getting people into a venue early so you can milk them for every penny at the bar and for food ! And as anyone who has ever bought anything at the Arena in town will testify, thats going to smart.
I went to see World of Twist with a free entry flyer before 9:00pm at somewhere in Camden. We had to leave as we ran out of cash and get the train home at 11:00 pm and there was still no sign of them. I think it £4 a pint which was a lot back then.

Guess when you spend £400 on a ticket, you probably have more expectations than if you spent £40.

Ticket prices are scandalous these days, but it’s how artists make money, now that they get nowt from streaming.

Your right there!
I was looking to take my daughter to see Pink at Anfield in June.
She’s too small stand so looked at seats at the side………only £170.00 - 475.00 per seat
Rediculous

My favourite band of all time, still listen to the Clash a few times a week, talented musicians but Joe Strummer was a genius.
I'll be wearing this out to my Mums 80th today:

Was looking at the potential clash of the CL and Take That at the Coop live. Tickets for TT were £265 at the sides.

No wonder bands are reforming and going on tour!

Litigation like this is pitiful, but have to say, two hours is a fucking piss take. Really selfish and inconsiderate.

I'm not sure where the two hours is calculated from. Pretty sure when you get tickets they just have the time the doors open - if it's two hours after that then she's done nowt wrong and it's pretty normal.

If it actually states what time she'll be on stage and it's two hours after that, then she's a bit out of order.

I assumed that.

I'm just reading Gordon King's book about World of Twist at the moment. If he mentions that gig I'll get back to you.
