Madonna world tour looks to be cancelled

Fucking soft arses.
The first gig I went to was delayed for about two hours.
The way the doors finally opened was by my face and whoever was standing next to me's face busting through the glass doors at Belle vue.
After the rest of the line up behind us had finished trampling all over our near lifeless bodies, we picked ourselves up, dusted ourselves off and pogo'ed to the Clash.

Best 50p I ever borrowed of me Mum.
No this is a good thing. It will put an end to M*****sey!

My favourite band of all time, still listen to the Clash a few times a week, talented musicians but Joe Strummer was a genius.

Jesus how old are you!
Ancient - seen all the following live in concert.
  • Beatles
  • Supremes, Martha & The Vandellas, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Stevie Wonder, Georgie Flame (Motown Revue 1965)
  • Beach Boys
  • Roy Orbison
  • Paul McCartney
  • Fleetwood Mac
  • John Denver
  • Meatloaf
  • Everley Brothers
  • Peter, Paul & Mary
  • Simon & Garfunkel
  • Moody Blues
  • Cilla Black
  • Sammy Davis jr
  • Frankie Vaughan
Think that is it, but at my age your memory starts to fade.

If this one goes through then Axl Rose will go bankrupt. He's renowned for only taking to the stage when he is ready, which can be hours after the event. Many a gig has been cut short due to him starting late and the local rules on hours of operation coming into effect, or alternatively not finishing until well into the early hours.

Although how these guys expected to sleep at all after seeing a 65 year old Madonna prance about on stage, is beyond me. At least we know where Wazza is now following his glorious run at Birmingham.
Apparently one of the stipulations when Izzy temporarily rejoined in the 90’s (Gilby Clarke had broken his arm) was that Axl had to appear on time and he stuck to it perfectly. And then when they reformed a few years back he again had to agree to going on stage on time. He’s stuck to it pretty religiously since so just goes to show what a selfish prick he was back in the day.

Not saying suing is reasonable here but reading the story it does sound a bit more of a piss take than the headline implies. To do 3 consecutive concerts and turn up 2 hours late to all 3 is a bit more than a diva strop or an unexpected delay/issue. Smacks of the promoters purposely getting people into a venue early so you can milk them for every penny at the bar and for food ! And as anyone who has ever bought anything at the Arena in town will testify, thats going to smart.
