Madrid away tickets - Prices in OP

Just booked for 3 night stop Mon - Thurs

Flight prices from Manchester are horrendous so flying from Luton at 4pm Monday, coming back Thursday morning 10am. Staying 3 nights at a quality 4 star hotel right in the centre of Madrid (Best Western).

Approx £290.

Not the cheapest but not much messing about getting there, a quality hotel. There are cheaper hotels available but tend to be hostels with shared bathrooms etc. Won't be going again for a while so might as well !!

Just need to find some spending money now!!

I suppose if you shop around and are willing to take a detour there are bargains to be had. Unfortunately I do not have the time to do a 3 day trip it is a case of get there enjoy the day get back. For those that do have the time it just adds to the fun of away days.
Would like to point out that in my valuation of £450/£500 did include Alcohol though noticed you shandy drinkers hadn’t budgeted for that.

Flights and hotel booked seconds after match date was confirmed.

Paid £80 for return flight from Manchester to Madrid and £30 for 3 night in a hostel.

5 of us going, cant wait.

Were going Man to Palma Monday afternoon.
Palma to Madrid Tuesday at 11 am
Then Madrid to Paris Wed at 0700
Then Paris to MAN at 3.00 pm...
Flights in total £170
Hotel in Palma about £50

This will be my first European trip and I've booked with Spike - absolutely cannot wait, get my ticket on Sat! It might be £285 for the day trip but at least I know it's all organised for me and I've nothing to worry about (unless of course the tickets sells out before Sat!) :)

Hoping to get to this game but just need to get my hands on 2 tickets

travelling from ireland hopefully on the monday to wednesday directly to madrid but as a ST ticket holder but NOT on the scheme i unsure of my chances. Saying that the trip hasnt been too expensive at approx 200-250 and thats fuel, flights, 2 nights hotel and a ticket.

but reaction is mixed on whether this will sell out, i could see this going to general sale but that may be next saturday but the time they pace through cup scheme holders, ST holders, blue members etc etc...

my concern is getting my tickets in hand in Northern Ireland. I would need to have them purchased no later than next thursday if special delivery is going to get them here for saturday...

anyway hopefully see you all there!!

3 nights Sunday-Wednesday. 4* Hotel (apparently!) £358. Liverpool-Madrid. Atletico are at home on the Sunday night too. Can't wait.
