Anyone got their tickets yet? This special delivery doesn't seem that special to me.

Just got through to the club to get the tracker number for the tickets. Ordered Madrid Thursday and my Fulham tickets Friday. Fulham arrived Saturday the Madrid tickets where we've paid £5.90 Guaranteed Next Day Delivery are only being sent to Royal Mail today (Tuesday) so we should all get them tomorrow before 1pm.

Spoke to Customer Services and it's because they are understaffed only six people dealing with calls and despatch, but if Fulham could be done same day why couldn't the Madrid tickets be sent daily?

Anyway if you're happy with this situation feel free to sit on your hands, if like me you're not drop a line to Heather Ludlum at supporterservices@mcfc.co.uk and ask her why the service is so much worse than last season already and what is going to be done to rectify the situation. At this rate we'll be going back to queuing up at the Ticket Office like in the 80's to get a decent service.

There are no excuses to be this bad

Agreed. I understand that the reason why they send them on this special service is so that they can account that the purchaser has recieved them. However, it implies that the order for the ticket will be processed from the moment of purchase and people may make arrangements around this next day delivery time. It is possible that someone may have arranged to be out of the country after the percieved delivery time and not coming back to the UK until after the Madrid game.

How expensive is Madrid for food and drink? Also can you do the stadium tour on a matchday? Trying to work out how much money to bring....

Going Saturday evening, back Wednesday afternoon. Taking the missus so booked the Silken Puerta America hotel, £70 a night, bit out of the way of the Sol on Avenida de America (few mins on the metro) but looks pretty cool.

Is anyone who is going out early looking at going to watch the Atletico game on Sunday night? Vs Vallecano so a Madrid derby. Thinking about going but not sure how tickets would work/if I can just pick them up on Sunday.

Can't wait now!

I'll post a reply when I have a bit more time later.

Cheers pal! From what I could tell, it looks like the stadium tour is on matchdays for 15 Euros, just not sure what times....
