They just get their info from press reports. They take a manager's initial diagnosis, so say if Guardiola says 'it looks like he' ll be out for 3 weeks', physioroom will then put a return date 3 weeks from that point on as player's return date, they then adjust accordingly as more info becomes publicly available.
