Funnily enough, I expect the opposite and that Bravo will start as #1 with Ederson having to dethrone him

That is the interesting thing. If you compared the two goalkeepers based on experience, being a regular international, reputation within the game Bravo would be the undisputed number one.

Personally I do not think it is that cut and dry that Bravo will be number 2 next year and us paying a huge fee does not convince me that Edersons ability is a reflection of the fee we have paid.

At the moment, from my understanding, internationally he is second choice to Romas reserve goalkeeper who is being kept out of Romas side by Arsenals reserve keeper. It suggests he is not the finished article as yet so it could be an interesting competition for the number one spot next year.

Yep, not cut and dry for me either. Don't care who gets the starting berth from the pair of them, just hope they provide the competition for their place that demands they're both at the top of their game.

We saw that last year with Sterling and Caballeros stock only rising over the course of last season. Many, including me, were concerned about him playing in the Carling Cup final against Pool.

Bravo was poor for me last year but that does not change the fact he was/is a great keeper. Hopefully his form can return.

This wound the rags up more than they'd ever dare to admit & gave us so much kudos in the city.

Carlitos was a bit of a twat at times but he was a hell of a player & carried us almost single handedly at times.

His work rate was phenomenal,the most intense I think I've ever seen from a City player in 57 years of watching.
