I was on Reddit (mistake) saying that if Musk wants it, he has the money to buy them. Their owners wouldn’t turn down the money he could offer, and the fans they have who do turn away, will be replaced by the Dubliners etc who couldn’t give a fuck about politics.
One of them said that theirs no chance any Liverpool fan accepts a guy who is so right wing and owns a social media company who promotes it. I responded that right now they are owned by a guy who owns a right wing media empire who promotes it.
As it happens, I don’t think Elon does want to buy them. Errol and Elon haven’t spoken to each other for years, and on top of that the question about buying Liverpool was out to him by a reporter who opened the question by saying that she’s a Liverpool, would Elon buy them? She lead Errol into saying Elon would, because that’s what he does, talk fucking shite. It’s wrote the headlines for the next few weeks.
