Malcolm Allison RIP - Confirmed

Gutted

Loved him, loved his love of life, loved his love of City.

I was at the cup game in 81 when he brought his palace side to Maine road and he walked on the pitch, the affection and warmth he recieved that day was incredible.

RIP Big Mal you will always be the one and only

before my time, but he was the last manager to get away with looking like an extra out of minder

RIP mal

He got rid of an established side and used unestablished kids, we went downhill very quickly afterwards, he was sacked in 81-John Bond took over. was he really THAT great?
At 42, I love him and loathe him

They do say NEVER go back and in Mal's case this has never been more true.

r.i.p can someone tell me if this is correct - that he got rid of roger palmer when he became manager?

thanks

A bit before my time, but from what I've picked up I think he was a much greater coach than he was ever given credit for.

Brought a new level of fitness and introduced many of the scientific approaches used nowadays.

Sorry to see him pass away.

Hope there is a good send off for him today.
