I saw the bastard get caught by the police. The copper chasing him was brilliant. Threatened to taser him so the **** got down on his knees while the copper handcuffed him. Brilliant police work.

Brilliant news. Let's hope the courts deal with him properly and send him down for a few years as well as banning him from all football. The guy he sparked looked 60+ so hardly a threat surely. What a twat the Forest kid was.

There were loads of Police in and around the church car park opposite the Clayton Hall Tram stop an Hour before K.O., searching through the bins looking for something. Also saw some looking in the Bins on Ashton New Rd. More coppers going around the area like they were after someone, May be not football related but not a clue as to what was going on.

Sounds like a potential terrorism issue that.

This forum likes to slag the cops off but last night they showed why we have them. I was yards from the punch and only heard it but it knocked me sick. To see a bloke lying there spark out. There was no verbal before it, no warning, just a cowardly bastard playing the hard man.

Yes - fantastic work from the police last night going off the accounts on here. Let's hope the **** gets the book thrown at him.

However, criticism of GMP in other football incidents on here is justified IMO. It was only earlier this year that a City fan got sparked out ahead of the home derby when the police allowed a mob of United hooligans to re-group and come back looking for trouble when they (GMP) had the opportunity to disperse the fuckers for good in the first instance. That was piss poor and inexcusable.
