Man attacked outside Entrance X

I saw the bastard get caught by the police. The copper chasing him was brilliant. Threatened to taser him so the **** got down on his knees while the copper handcuffed him. Brilliant police work.
It sounds like decent police work. Brilliant police work would’ve been if he’d Tasered him without warning

Yes I've noticed a change since the lockdowns, hardly surprising really. People are going ott on nights out etcetera I think it's the fear their chance to do so could be taken away at a moment's notice again. Psychologically lockdowns did massive harm.

No excuse for this turd though.
Agreed.

Hope they are both ok. Not knowing the details, but given historical similar cases, the forest fan could potentially be charged with attempted manslaughter. All for the sake of a punch, too mich beer, impressing their mates...

Anyone who thinks it's clever to give someone a crack would do themselves a favour by watching this.

This is why I’ve never punched anyone in the head in my life. I’m a big fella, and if I put my full weight into a punch I dread to think what the outcome would be.

I reckon I would only ever punch another person in the head if there was a threat to life for me or others around me. Even then I think my first port of call would be a rugby tackle to the deck.

I’m no big fan of it but if one drug was partly responsible for turning an otherwise well behaved person to violence it is far and away most likely to be alcohol.
Of course it is. It wasn’t cocaine that fuelled the 1960s-80s hooligan heydays.

I wish people would leave the hedonists alone to be honest, hardly any of them do anyone any harm at all.

More widely, I've noticed a general change in some people's behaviour since lockdown. The pandemic changed some people, clearly. The world generally is nuts and the multiplying problems in this country are piling pressure on many people. However, this little turd is just a turd with no excuses.
Society never really changes that much. From generation to generation it’s often the same and we only notice things in different ways as we age ourselves.

There was a thread on here about ten years ago after a home game (with West Ham was it?) where some City fans got into a confrontation with and stabbed another City fan with a screwdriver.

Someone somewhere, at every football match in this country going back to the start of football (when City fans used to throw stones at the away team as they came onto the pitch at Hyde Road) all the way up to before and after lockdowns, is being a dangerous ****. It could be in the ground, outside the ground, in the pub, on public transport, at the services… often we’ll all be somewhere else at the game and miss it… but someone somewhere is doing something like this in connection to every football game in the country.

Doesn’t make it any less cunty, but it’s not any worse now than before lockdowns.
