Man City 13/14 Third Kit... (Updated Mock-up Image Page.11)

Re: Man City 13/14 Third Kit... (New Image)

i think people are getting to over excited about the badge thing. It doesn't actually look bad at all. It stands out from the shirt now so maybe its something to do with brand name.

the badge shield is shit and it looks like shit, that's why.

all of these kits would be incredible with the badge only like we've had the last few years.

Well we dont so stop crying a river and dont buy one

I'm really not bothered about the shield anymore. I'm more bothered about the material and how crap it feels. Wouldn't even pay £20 for the shirt it feels simply crap.

I can see the other 2 shirts going the same way although the 3rd does look great!

You're on a discussion forum in a thread specifically about the kits.

It's not "crying a river" to post opinions, that's precisely what a discussion forum is for. You're in a thread specifically devoted to the 3rd kit. You should probably expect people to talk about what they like and dislike about it. Nobody's threatening to stop supporting the team, boycott the club shop, etc etc.

Yeah, it's obviously just cheaper than embroidering it on the shirt itself. And we all know that Nike will do anything to save on the production costs. Employing children. Anything.

I wonder how much the quality/design of the kit affects sales or whether they're pretty steady whatever shite they put out.
So where do you think Umbro shirts were made???
No idea, but to my knowledge, they've never been caught using child labour. Nike has on multiple occasions, amongst other things.

Re: Man City 13/14 Third Kit... (New Image)

Very, Very sad to see the Umbro designed shirts go away. The last few years' jerseys made me become "one of those guys" who wears a jersey just a little too much. Couldn't stand the Nike Dri-Fit shirts even before we got the sponsorship. I'm happy they are made of post-consumer recycled bottles, but it feels like you're wearing recycled bottles, and they overly accentuate my man-tits. The last jerseys were the most comfortable jerseys I have ever owned. Many a time I have had people comment on the old jersey's when I've worn them that they would wear jerseys more often if they were made like that. They were comfortable to play in, and when sweating in them they didn't stick to my skin. Even a neutral on an American football podcast said he thought the City jerseys were the best jersey out there, and lamented Umbro possibly going to obscurity.

Well, at least they aren't adidas....

despite the shield this is 1 of the best shirts we have had in a while

i to thought air vents but i cant see them on the home shirt on site. but im goin down to buy the shirt on sat so will get a proper look at it

The fans replica shirt doesn't have the vents but if other Nike shirts are anything to go by the players ones do (for some clubs they sell both variations to the fans but for us just the replica)
