I think it is terrible that people who want to buy a shirt do not buy this year's shirt, but instead buy an old retro one.

If you're going to support the club in merchandise at least do it properly by buying something that represents the here and now, rather than 50 years ago.

If you're smart (or cheap) like me and do not want to spent £50 on a shirt made out of recycled testicles, at least wear your old stuff rather than moaning about the new stuff being awful.

So on one hand wearing a retro top from 50 years ago is wrong but wearing a top from a few tears ago is OK? Don't understand the logic mate.

Yeah, it's obviously just cheaper than embroidering it on the shirt itself. And we all know that Nike will do anything to save on the production costs. Employing children. Anything.

I wonder how much the quality/design of the kit affects sales or whether they're pretty steady whatever shite they put out.
So where do you think Umbro shirts were made???
No idea, but to my knowledge, they've never been caught using child labour. Nike has on multiple occasions, amongst other things.

Exactly

Oh and when they were owned by Nike do you think they just made Nike stuff despite owning numerous other clothing lines

You know just a thought for you there

-- Sat Jul 06, 2013 8:48 am --

Note to self always read through a long post before pressing the submit button. You maybe surprised how much bullshit you've just written.
