I make videos regularly and i frequently say i could be, and will be, wrong about many things. Obviously when you make 3 or 4 videos every week you sometimes forget to add the 'in my opinion' caveat, but i try and stress that as much as I can. I certainly don't believe my opinion is any more important than anyone else's and would never claim that. I can see the appeal of fan content because i get it's more relatable than some stuff, but i can also see why many would hate it.
I'm also aware that having a moderately sized YouTube channel will by default make me a more visible city fan than most and as a result one that fans of other teams may see or hear more. It just comes with the territory....so there's a tiny bit of responsibility with that as i don't want to come across like a dick as i know people make sweeping generalisations, and im fully aware i don't speak for City fans by any stretch of the imagination. As a result i really try hard not to say anything stupid that would annoy other City fans and just be sensible. This is why i don't have things constantly thrown back in my face like that Goldbridge dickhead does, or Howson from the other United fan channel. I'm not perfect, but who is? I try not to be a dick but i can see why some may not like what i do, but that's life.
Edit - whether the videos are needed or not is kinda irrelevant tbh. Is talksport needed? Is 99% of stuff on the internet needed? Nah... but for myself it's fun. I love it. I love reading the comments, i love chatting to City fans, i love creating content and i love talking about football. It's great from a personal perspective. It's just something i love doing.
