Doesn’t the Club try and recognise fans whose support has been extraordinary like the two sisters who were over 100.

I assume most people didn't have season tickets when they first started going. I was taken to every home game as a kid in the early 70's and we paid a few pence at the turnstile. I would have been a teenager when I had a season ticket for the first time, so around 45 years ago, not that there will be any records now to confirm that. So, back on point, there won't be official records from back in the day to work from for the club to implement anything like this.

Don't think it's a bad idea to reward loyalty , i'm currently in my 36th consecutive season as a season ticket holder, a letter from the club or even better Pep would be great

At work we’ve just had our long service awards.
it got me thinking I bet most of us have been season ticket holders longer than we have worked or been in the same job.
I can’t even remember when I actually got my first season ticket I think around 1987.(not sure if it’s even logged anywhere since the move from Maine road we just got a lump of points)
I just thought it would be nice for city to acknowledge our support for all these years.
Or maybe you all think we are just a number and are not interested.

So based on my season ticket I will have done possibly 35 years.
Could the club do anything for our loyal support?
Options
1. Email at 10,20,30,40,50 years service and so on.
2. A beer token, have a drink on us
3. A voucher to spend in city store
4. Blue Peter badge and so on.

maybe I’m wide of the mark and people are not bothered, I’m not precious I just thought it would be a nice touch from the club.

other things an email for big birthdays? We have some supporters who are 80 or more and still going as season tickets who may not be able to go much past this age And it will go without any acknowledgment.
maybe a letter from the club, anything?

Like many i didn't get a season ticket until they knocked down the Kippax - up til then i used pay on the gate as for some daft reason it felt easier! So i've technically only had mine every consecutive season since 94/95.

I think it's a great idea. They should be tracking this and rewarding people at certain milestones.

15 years -certificate to put in a picture frame + a badge + free pint at the next game.
30 years - everything above + scarf + free upgrade to hospitality for a game.
50 years -everything above + free upgrade to a box for a game + players meet and greet + signed, framed shirt.

Little things to reward us 'legacy fans'.

First Season Ticket - Kippax Uncovered 1976/77 season and held one ever since!! I make that 47 years 46 seasons!!??
And wouldnt change a thing!! ;-) well maybe tel Tommy Hutch to NOT stand there! among others!
