Get on the train at Victoria -the train for Brighton - get off at Haywards Heath, jump in a cab and go to the Witch in Sunte Avenue, Lindfield - only about a mile. The Midsussex branch will be there in force.

There is a City pub in South London. There has been a large group of us meeting for several years for live TV matches and we quite often meet up to go to games.

Tis about ten minutes from Victoria on the Train or a 15 minute walk from Brixton Tube.

There should be a fair few of us and we usually outnumber the reds. We are a friendly biunch so anyone on this thread feel free to come doewn and PM me for my mobile number if you need it.

Just to let you know, there are no trains from Victoria to Herne Hill this Sunday as there is planned engineering works.

Cheers mate, according to the Southern website it is only between Tulse Hill and Streatham Common so should be OK for Victoria. The Thames Link however is probably a different kettle of fish.

Alternatively a Tube to Brixton and a No.37 bus towards Peckham will drop you off right outside (just after the park and just after the railway bridge..

It is the Southeastern Trains from Vic that are not running that way on Sunday. Best go by tube and bus as you suggest. :)
