Man City reach Sturridge impasse

I'm beginning to think he's more trouble than he's worth to be honest ....... this was probably a season when he really should have made his mark here , yet throughout it all i can only really remember , off the top of my head , three things that he actually did ...... a couple of goals at COMS ... and a tasty ball played to Robinho for the late equaliser at Blackburn.

I doubt very much whether we'll ever really get a full season out of him even if he does stay .... injuries and ill-luck seem to follow him around .

That fact that he won't sign a contract that City deem pretty reasonable for him doesn't really look good for Sturridge , and the words 'greed' or 'wanting too much, too soon' abound freely around the talks.

Looks like it's time to finally find out the truth , and find out whether or not he was angling for a move , as so many people have suspected all along!

Sturridge is a quality player and could have made it massive but he has been let down by his advisors imo.

Right i am sorry i might get slated for this .....
But who the frigg does Daniel Sturridge thinks he is yes he is a very good prospect at the moment but he has struggled at times in the preimership.
The contract City has offered him is more than double what a 19/20 year could earn in a normal job what has he done at City at senior level ? Nothing thats what ok he's scored a couple of goals whooppie bloodie do and he wants £75 grand you my son are taking the piss big time.
Yes i could understand if you where a "wayne rooney " but you are no where near that good so take a good long luck at yourself mate.
Think what City have do for you brought you on as a player nurtured you, and generally looked after you bloody well and now just because we have money now you want a massive contract that you have done nothing to earn.
Well mate you can go feck yourself now you are going to be the biggest loser in this.
You thought City would give in to your stupid demands well you was wrong and instead of saying ok i got it wrong and signing a new deal for the reported £35 grand a week and getting your head down and working your way towards that big contract you have thrown your toys out of the pram and guess what mate see ya hope you are watching in a couple of years when we are in the champs league and your sat at home some where crying in to your milk.
We will have the last laugh mark my words

im hoping studge will be another kieron dyer and break a leg every second week - thus wasting his whole career that could have been special.

KARMA BABY!!
bit harsh that

Saw him talking to some people before the Bolton game outside the main entrance, and after he got in his White Audi S3 and drove away. + He wasn't in the lap after the match.

Decent player with a great first touch. Good eye for a pass at times. Unfortunate that City might (probably will lose him). Good Luck to him if he's off, shame about the way it's panned out. A lot of talk about his attitude etc. If he's turned down 40k a week then he really must not watch to be at City.

Unless he put himself in the same bracket as MJ?? Not sure.

Good Luck Studge, hope you do alright wherever you go. Just don't give City any bad jibes, they've been good to you.
