Man City Real Ales?

I would love the chance of a pint of real ale. I have to drink fizzy larger when i visit as i would'ent touch John Smiths with a barge pole.

Great idea, but its never going to happen, real ale wouldn't keep between games, and so any unsold beer each week would have to be chucked away, now I've no idea how many bars there are in the ground , but if it was 25, its not impossible that all 25 would have 2/3 of a barrel left at the end of each match, that's a lot of wasted beer.

Its no coincidence that football stadiums, and other venues that attract large attendances mostly (in fact I can't think of one that doesn't) sell shit beer/lager.

Pubs are for good beer, football satdiums are for football.

there's no reason for the beer to sit, the vendor can simply bring the beer the day of the game. It is highly unlikely that the club purchases any of the food/drink sold at matches, it is the vendors who vie for the license/contract to sell at the matchs using the clubs facilities.

you all should contact the vendors about increasing the selection made available to the fans..

Yes good shout, bring on the Joey Holts bitter for the true ale drinkers and all the soft larger drinkers can take up the dimond, God what a state we will be in by kickoff.

I had a pint of Blue Moon beer in a pub in Scarborough last year, but this was from a brewery in Bolton and not the expensive one from the states. It was quite nice from what I recall.

i go to alot of camera pubs and love real ale. they could at least have some real ale in city square? love beer festivals

Had a pint of Bluemoon in the Mad Hatter in New York and it's fuc*ing hanging.
The bottles are a bit better but even with it having a good name I won't be drinking this beer again even if they are giving it away.

really difficult to do due to storage issues and the time taken to pull a pint. Also ales need to settle for 24 hours prior to serving so bringing the beer on the day of the match would be a none starter. a cask ale bar in city square could be an idea though,

What about some of this tackle?
